Corn, Sweet

Sweet corn, otherwise known as corn on the cob, is actually considered a grain as opposed to its whole counterpart which is a vegetable. It is native to the Americas and is one of the most popular grown cops around the world.

Sweet corn has a good source of ferulic acid, which research studies suggest plays a vital role in preventing aging, cancers, and inflammation. It also contains vitamins that are known to help boost metabolism.

At Seawind Foods, our dehydration process allows our corn to keep all of these valuable nutrients. We are also proud to offer both organic and conventional dehydrated kernels of sweet corn. Each product is thoroughly washed, trimmed, cut, selected and then dried in a controlled setting using moderate heat. (Validated microbiological reduction methods available include steam sterilization or irradiation.)
