Butternut Squash

Butternut squash is a member of the gourd family: therefore, it is closely related to the pumpkin. It has been consumed for thousands of years, but first originated in Mexico due to its ability to grow in both warm and cool climates.

This orange winter squash contains high levels of fiber, potassium, vitamin A, and other various nutrients. Dried butternut squash can be used in many different ways such as baked in a pie, added to a curry sauce, used as a sweet vegetable ingredient for soup, added to a frozen meal, or used in salad dressing.

At Seawind Foods we offer our butternut squash as granules, dices, or in the form of powder. We procure only the best butternut squash to be processed, to keep in the delicious flavor and many nutrients!
